About Rugo Stone

Founded in 1996, Rugo Stone is a privately-owned company dedicated to the design, fabrication, and installation of natural stone, mosaic, and other architecturally significant stonework projects. With a creative lineage that harkens back to Renaissance Italy, our passion for fine stonework connects classical artistry with modern possibilities. As one of the most recognized stone contractors in the region, we’ve consistently received regional, national, and international craftsmanship awards for our work. Today, Rugo Stone routinely employs over 120 employees and works throughout the Mid-Atlantic region for some of the nation’s most acclaimed architects, churches, developers, construction managers, and private homeowners. Entrusted with some of the most challenging and intricate projects required of any stone contracting company, we’re uniquely capable of performing highly detailed marble and granite fabrication, complex stone shop drawings, and mastering engineered support systems, and rigorous scaffold and rigging challenges in an environment of progressively shorter lead times. As one of the few companies still employing masters from every stonework specialty and discipline, our service and product offering is nearly unlimited in scope. Our team of dedicated experts, artists, and project managers is committed to preserving the lasting beauty of master-crafted natural stone for future generations. Our company culture demands integrity, excellence, and versatility, and those values shine through in everything we do. Learn more about our team and projects at rugostone.com.
