About Rural Nurture Initiative

Rural Nurture Initiative (RNI) is a social impact organization spearheading evidence-based, community-centered approaches to rural transformation across Africa. We advance sustainable rural development through the power of research, policy advocacy, and community empowerment. At the heart of our mission is working alongside communities to implement solutions that empower people, build local capacity, and sustain resilient rural ecosystems. We work across climate-smart agriculture, food security, economic empowerment, health systems, water sustainability, gender equity, and youth capacity building, ensuring sustainable pathways for rural development. Established in 2019, and with active operations in Nigeria, Ghana, and the Republic of Benin, our work leverages strategic partnerships to address the complex, interconnected challenges facing rural populations in Africa.
