About Safe Green Logistics A/S

Container Transfer System (CTS) – A Innovative Technology & Concept The Container Transfer System (CTS) developed by Safe Green Logistics A/S represents a groundbreaking approach to intermodal freight transport, enabling seamless horizontal transfer of containers between trucks and trains. This automated system facilitates container transfers directly from the truck cabin, significantly reducing handling time to approximately one minute per container. By allowing simultaneous loading and unloading of entire train sets, CTS enhances the efficiency of intermodal operations, mitigating common bottlenecks associated with traditional terminal equipment like cranes or reach-stackers. Its adaptability permits deployment adjacent to railway tracks in various locations, provided the surface is suitably prepared for truck operations. CTS is a comprehensive intermodal solution designed to transition substantial volumes of road-based freight onto rail networks. Its integration into existing infrastructure is straightforward, offering improved profitability over conventional road transport, reduced socio-economic costs, and a significant decrease in CO₂ emissions. The system's versatility extends to various logistical models, including point-to-point routes, centralized hub terminals, and the innovative 'Rapid' concept, which combines passenger and cargo transport. This flexibility ensures that CTS can meet diverse transportation needs while promoting sustainable practices.
