About SAFE Violence Prevention & Self Defence
Changing & Saving Lives Since 1994 Founded by Chris Roberts, SAFE Violence Prevention & Self-Defence has reached more than 200,000 women, men, and teens through mobile, reality-based programs delivered in schools, corporations, families, seniors, and Indigenous communities. Today, Chris focuses on preparing the next generation of self-defence instructors—professionals who teach with a prevention-focused, communication-driven approach that goes far beyond physical techniques. Based primarily in Canada, SAFE now certifies instructors in 12+ countries, sharing a consistent message: Absolute protection starts with awareness, intuition, and verbal defusion before it ever becomes physical. Through the SAFE Instructor Certification, candidates learn to teach life-saving skills in hours—not years—while helping students build confidence, connection, and calm under pressure. Whether partnering with schools, organizations, or independent instructors, SAFE remains a mobile, adaptable training organization with one purpose: to change how the world understands and teaches violence prevention. 🌐 www.safeinternational.biz Chris Roberts, Founder & Managing Director
