About SAIR

The Foundation for Science and AI Research (SAIR) unites the world's top minds to accelerate scientific discovery while building a deeper scientific foundation for AI. Co-founded by Fields Medalist Terence Tao, alongside Nobel, Turing, and Fields laureates, SAIR represents a new kind of institution: scientist-led, interdisciplinary, and focused on long-term breakthroughs. We work across two core directions: AI for Science — Harnessing AI to accelerate breakthroughs across disciplines. Science for AI — Applying scientific rigor to build the future of intelligence. Through research programs, global collaborations, and flagship events, SAIR brings together leaders from academia, industry, entrepreneurship, and philanthropy to shape the future of intelligence. Grounding intelligence. Scaling discovery.
