About SAJ Instrument Ab Ltd

SAJ Instrument Ab Ltd is redefining precision at sea. As the global leader in dynamic vessel measurement and hydrodynamic optimization, we deliver data that truly reflects the vessel’s real condition, not an estimate. This level of accuracy changes everything: from load and trim optimization to tank measurement, GM verification, and shallow-water operations. Our flagship system, the SAJ-DMS (Dynamic Monitoring System), provides real-time readings with ±1 cm accuracy on trim, list, hull deflection, torsion, and draft, all synchronized in one unified system. With only ONE through-hull intake and two dedicated Dynamic Sensors, SAJ-DMS simplifies installation, calibration, and maintenance while outperforming outdated static and inclinometer-based systems by an order of magnitude. Paired with the SAJ-ODT (Optimal Dynamic Trim) module, it transforms precision into performance. Using advanced CFD models, navigation, and machinery data, the ODT guides the crew toward optimal hydrodynamic conditions, delivering measurable fuel savings, improved CII, EEXI, and EU ETS compliance, and a return on investment within months. For shipyards and owners, SAJ-DMS is the modern standard, replacing unreliable systems with verified, dynamic accuracy that supports Digital Twin and AI-based performance analytics. Reliable input means reliable optimization. With more than 40 years of experience and unmatched customer support, SAJ Instrument stands beside shipowners worldwide, from newbuild specification to daily vessel operations, ensuring every voyage is measured, optimized, and efficient.
