About Salon Resource Group

Founded in 1967, the company began its journey as the Golden Clipper, an innovative concept in full service hair care for men during a time when men traditionally visited their local barber shop for a cut and shave. With our Scotia Square Golden Clipper location still a part of the chain, in 1973 the company transitioned into full service salons serving both men and women – the Head Shoppe was born!
