About Samaya

Based in Annecy, Haute-Savoie, Samaya is a French technical equipment brand founded in 2018 by alpinists convinced the ideal tent had yet to be invented. We've been pioneering the reinvention of lightweight, durable outdoor travel—built for the most challenging peaks and confident in every terrain. We engineer ultralight alpine shelters, backpacks, and accessories through proprietary materials innovation. Our approach: revolutionary single-wall tent architecture, advanced Dyneema® composite fabrics, and Nanovent® membrane technology—delivering expedition-grade performance at a fraction of traditional weight. Our gear is the choice equipment for elite athletes on 40+ expeditions yearly—from Everest to K2—and has earned 5 ISPO awards in 4 years. But validation comes from every alpinist, climber, trekker, and adventurer who counts on our gear when the toughest conditions demand reliability. What sets us apart is our integrated capability and team. At Samaya High Camp, our 1,000m² facility near Lake Annecy houses design studios, a research laboratory, a prototyping workshop, and a close-knit group of engineers, designers, and outdoor specialists who test every product in the field. This means faster iteration, tighter quality control, and gear developed by—and with—the people who actually use it in the mountains. We're a small, ambitious team that cares deeply about what we make and how we make it. We believe bold innovation and respect for nature go hand in hand. Our culture values excellence, creativity, empowerment, and real ownership—where your work directly impacts products used on the world's most demanding peaks. We're building something new for those who choose elevation—and we're just getting started. If you want to be part of a purpose-led team creating gear that helps people move lighter, freer, and closer to nature, there's room here to make a real impact.
