That’s why all our patients are always seen by board-certified dermatologists—never mid-level providers. That’s also why we prioritize urgent access and timely appointments when care can’t wait. To better serve our community, we’ve expanded from 2 to 4 locations covering all of San Diego and grown to 16 providers. We accept all types of insurance, including Medi-Cal, because no one should have to delay care due to cost or coverage. We’re especially proud to offer specialized care with five Pediatric Dermatologists and a fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon on staff. Whether you’re a parent with a newborn or someone seeking skin cancer treatment, you’re in experienced and caring hands. San Diego Family Dermatology is a family in more ways than one. Founded in 1975 by Dr. William Resh, the practice welcomed his daughter, Dr. Brooke Resh Sateesh, in 2010. Many of our team members have been with us for decades, and several are literally family—mothers, daughters, sisters, nieces, and cousins working side by side. We care for patients of all ages, races, and genders and are honored to serve multiple generations within families. It’s not uncommon for us to see grandparents, parents, and children from the same household—and nothing makes us prouder. We’re deeply grateful for the trust our patients place in us and proud to have served our community for over 50 years. That legacy of care continues today.
