About San Diego SHRM (Society for Human Resource Management)

SD SHRM is the local chapter of the national Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). Since 1945, we have provided human resource professionals with the resources they need to excel in their careers. Become a member and discover new opportunities to network with other HR professionals, stay up to date on the latest HR legislation, tap into our job center, and much more. SD SHRM membership is separate and apart from membership in the national SHRM organization or other U.S. chapters of SHRM. HR professionals may belong to both their local and national SHRM organizations to fully enjoy the unique benefits of each: A wide range of educational seminars, programs and other activities designed to develop your expertise in various human resource management areas. A forum for members to meet and share information that will help them address human resource issues in their respective organizations. An organization that promotes the highest standards of integrity through SD SHRM's Code of Ethics & Professional Responsibility. Programs and activities that serve to increase awareness and understanding of human resource management by the business community, government and general public. We invite you to participate in SD SHRM activities, as well as contribute your time and talent to our working committees: Communications, Educational, Legislative Action, Membership, Diversity, Workforce Readiness, Sponsorship, Conferences, and Programs.
