Sapura Baker Hughes TPS Sdn Bhd, formerly known as Sapura GE Oil and Gas Services Sdn Bhd (2017 - 2020) and SapuraKencana GE Oil & Gas Services Sdn Bhd(2013 - 2017) was incorporated on 19th December 2013 as a joint venture company between Sapura Energy Berhad and GE Power Systems (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd for the purpose of conducting the business for the provision to PETRONAS Group of Companies and its Production Sharing Contractors of after-sale services of rotating oil and gas equipment that GE Oil & Gas division has sold or will sell to Petronas in Malaysia. A joint venture agreement was entered into by SGE together with SapuraKencana Services Sdn Bhd (SK Services), a wholly-owned subsidiary of SapuraKencana Petroleum Berhad and GE on 5th February, 2014 to govern the relationship of all parties with respect to the conduct of the business by SGE and regulating other matters as shareholders of SGE. Scope of works • Upgrades and modifications • OEM parts from operational spares, capital spares, spare engines, until exchanges modules • Advisory Monitoring & Diagnostics • Repair for gas turbine components • Provide highly qualified Field Service Engineer • Resident team – Resident Engineer and Contract Performance Manager (CPM) • Project management for long-term contract
