About Saranam India, The Sheltr Foundation

Saranam - an initiative of The Sheltr Foundation, was conceptualized with the objective of relieving serious health-related suffering by enabling access to integrated palliative care for those with chronic and life limiting conditions, the elderly, and the disadvantaged. Saranam works in partnership with the health systems in Karnataka to create networks of access to palliative and end of life care, addressing different life limiting illnesses including cancer and neuro-degenerative diseases. Saranam also works to address the ability for family members and care-givers to cope with the challenges of such suffering.
