Sarspec is the first Portuguese company focused in the development and commercialization of instrumentation and solutions for spectroscopy. With a team combining skills of mechanical, optical, electronic and software engineering, Sarspec develops and manufactures compact CCD based spectrometers without any moving parts, light sources and sampling accessories ranging from the Ultraviolet to the Infrared for applications such as Absorbance, Transmittance, Fluorescence, Reflectance, Irradiance, Raman, etc. The versatility of Sarspec’s solutions is possible with the use of optical fibers for light transmission avoiding complex optical systems to take and collect light to/from the samples. The solutions developed have been used in different markets such as semiconductors, food, shoes, LEDs and chemical industries among others, but the core of business is directed for Universities that look at Sarspec as a partner for complementary developments in spectroscopy area either by customization of standard solutions or by requesting new and innovative products.
