What We Do: Aquatic & Freshwater Services – Comprehensive aquatic ecological assessments, freshwater and wetland biomonitoring, water quality evaluations and ecological condition reporting to support water resource planning and decision-making. Terrestrial & Biodiversity Services – Biodiversity surveys, habitat risk assessments, protected tree and plant permit applications, alien invasive species plans and terrestrial ecological reporting that inform land use and development processes Water Use Licence Authorisations – Full water use licence application services under the National Water Act, including licence and general authorisation applications, amendments, compliance monitoring and integrated water-use planning across mining, industrial and infrastructure sectors. Soil & Land Capability Services – Through Zimpande Research Collaborative, we provide soil mapping, land capability assessments, soil contamination studies, hydropedological and hydrological investigations to support agricultural, development and resource planning. Regional Specialist Consulting – FEN Consulting delivers focused environmental and freshwater ecosystem services in the Eastern, Western and Northern Cape, including wetland mapping, freshwater impact assessments, rehabilitation and GIS-based analyses.
