About Saucy Books

Saucy Books is London’s first and only bookstore dedicated entirely to romance. We celebrate the most commercially successful — and often most underestimated — genre in publishing with unapologetic joy, beautifully curated shelves, and a warm, inclusive space for discovery. Launching June 2025 in West London, Saucy Books is more than a shop — it’s a cultural hub, an editorial platform, and a love letter to independent bookstores everywhere. We champion bold storytelling, diverse authors, and the belief that falling in love (with a book, a story, a moment) should never be underestimated. Our catalogue spans romantasy, queer romance, spicy contemporary, historical slow burns, and everything in between. We host events, spotlight emerging voices, and build community with every swoon. What We’re Building - A beautifully designed physical retail space in London - A seasonal event series celebrating romance authors and fans - A digital platform connecting readers, indie bookstores, and publishers Whether you're a lifelong romance reader or romance-curious, you're welcome here.
