About Sawubona Project

Sawubona Project is a Canadian registered charity delivering life-skills, leadership, and employment readiness training to youth in South Africa, particularly in underserved communities in Mpumalanga. Our programs focus on equipping vulnerable youth and unemployed young adults with the confidence, practical skills, and mentorship needed to pursue meaningful work and life opportunities. While supported primarily by Canadian donors and partners, all programs are delivered locally through South African facilitators, schools, churches, and community organizations—ensuring cultural relevance and long-term sustainability. Our core areas of focus include: • Life-skills and identity development • Job readiness and employability training • Leadership and mentorship • Community-based youth engagement We believe lasting impact happens through consistent relationships, practical tools, and locally-led solutions. 📍 Canada (Support & Funding) 📍 South Africa (Program Delivery) 👉 Get involved: www.sawubonaproject.com
