About SBR Events Group

SBR Events Group is the parent company to two of Chicago’s leading special events brands - Sweet Baby Ray’s Catering Company & True Cuisine Catering/Special Events. Both brands work cohesively to create a seamless planning process for your life event. With over 30 years in combined industry expertise, there is no event too big for our team to tackle! Whether it is a backyard barbecue, your wedding, or your company's annual gala, SBR has you covered! Sweet Baby Ray’s Catering: Founded by Sweet Baby Ray himself, Dave Raymond, and home to the Award-Winning Sauce of the same name, Sweet Baby Ray’s Catering defines BBQ. With an expert culinary staff headed by Chef Duce Raymond, we use rustic cooking techniques such as open fire grilling and wood smoking, to bring out the flavors of backyard BBQ all year round. Our chef-inspired menus merge classic BBQ favorites with today’s unique flavors and culinary techniques. True Cuisine Catering/Special Events: Where exceptional cuisine, creativity, and sophistication meet. Our world-class menus feature fresh, seasonally inspired ingredients fit for all of life’s special moments. With origins as a culinary institute, our company has been developing professionals, as well as flavors for over 30 years! The SBR Events Group companies have been nationally and internationally recognized for excellence in culinary efforts, design and production. We have also successfully competed in BBQ Championships across the country!
