About Scarborough Counselling & Psychotherapy Training Institute Ltd.

We are a small, independent training institute set in the picturesque seaside resort of Scarborough in North Yorkshire. Easily accessible by road, rail or air (Leeds Bradford airport is 1hr away). Established in 1991, we pride ourselves on the quality of our training, emphasising an approach, we believe is unique in the UK: we offer 'Process based, relationally-centred counselling and psychotherapy training. We work with our students to enable them to work at relational depth in a supportive and ethical therapeutic relationship. Success in gaining our diplomas is high, with graduates going on to achieve United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy registration, and following successful careers in both the self-employed and public sectors.
