About scienceOS

ScienceOS is the AI research agent designed to streamline scientific workflows with reliability, transparency, and trust. As the volume of scientific publications continues to grow, identifying and synthesizing relevant evidence has become increasingly complex. ScienceOS provides access to a trusted database of more than 230 million research papers and delivers answers grounded directly in the scientific literature - including in-text citations that transparently link to the underlying sources as you explore your research questions. Through natural, conversational interaction, researchers can evaluate individual studies, compare multiple papers, or investigate broader research landscapes. Its advanced algorithms go beyond keyword searches, factoring in elements such as citation counts and publication dates to ensure that each answer is based on the most relevant and reliable evidence. Beyond literature search, scienceOS enables you to build and work with your own structured research database, organize sources into focused workspaces, and collaborate with colleagues in dedicated research environments. You can upload and analyze full-text PDFs, including complex documents, to extract insights, compare findings, and generate structured outputs such as literature summaries or research drafts. ScienceOS also helps you curate and preserve important findings over time, creating a centralized and searchable knowledge base that grows with your research. Designed with academic standards in mind, it combines scientific rigor with secure, GDPR-compliant data handling and EU-based infrastructure, ensuring that your data remains protected and is never used to train AI models. By combining reliable source grounding, intelligent search, structured research organization, and institutional-grade data protection, scienceOS enables researchers and teams to navigate scientific knowledge confidently and efficiently - with full transparency into the evidence behind every answer.
