About ScienceReach

Community organizations across Canada hold deep knowledge about what works in their neighborhoods. Most of it has never been published. It sits in program reports, in the experience of staff, and in the lived knowledge of the people doing the work. Researchers study the same issues a few kilometers away and never see it. That is why ScienceReach exists. We produce Community Knowledge Publications: accessible, publicly available, and citable records of what community organizations know and do. Each publication goes through a structured review process and is published on our platform in both English and French. We run the Micro-Experiential Internship, a short program where students work with community data and knowledge, learn knowledge mobilization, and co-produce a publication on a specific community issue. Accessible and intentional (fifteen hours over two to four weeks), with training and mentorship throughout. Whether you are a student, a researcher, or a community organization whose work deserves to be documented, ScienceReach was built for you.
