Led by Dr. Amy St. Croix, a special education specialist with over two decades of experience in education and school leadership, Scolastico brings a systems level understanding of curriculum, instruction, behavioral programming, and regulatory requirements. Dr. St. Croix holds a doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus on special education and maintains advanced certification as an autism specialist. Scolastico provides comprehensive educational record review and analysis in both consultative and legal contexts, including support in due process matters and dispute resolution. This work includes analysis of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring, as well as the relationship between evaluation data, identified needs, and delivered services. Distinct from traditional legal review, Scolastico’s work is grounded in direct knowledge of how public school systems function internally. This allows for analysis not only of what is documented, but what exists within district systems that may not be reflected, including service delivery structures, staffing, scheduling, and access to resources. This perspective supports identification of additional services and supports that districts are capable of providing but may not be included in current programming. Areas of focus include alignment between student needs and IEP programming, curriculum access and instructional design, behavioral supports and intervention planning, discipline patterns, and fidelity of IEP implementation.
