About Seasons of Strength Newnan

Seasons of Strength Newnan is a landmark project presenting a two-night commemorative arts event reflecting a defining chapter in Georgia’s recent history and the community response following the March 26, 2021 EF-4 tornado in Newnan. The performances will take place March 21 and 22, 2026, at Unity Baptist Church in Newnan. On March 25-26, 2021, 170 mph winds tore through Newnan. 1,700 homes were damaged. And within 48 hours, 1,200 neighbors showed up. That response is our story. And it deserves to be told. Seasons of Strength transforms 100+ recorded survivor voices into a 90-minute live performance featuring the Musicians of the LaGrange Symphony Orchestra performing Max Richter's Recomposed: Vivaldi's Four Seasons, professional dancers from Southern Arc Dance, and projected video testimony. Three performances. 3,200 seats. March 21-22, 2026 in Newnan, GA. This is more than a concert. It is Newnan defining itself, proving that everyday people do extraordinary things. Not just during the tornado. Always.
