Selingo is the Managing Member of the firm. He founded the practice in 2001 after working as a defense lawyer for almost a decade. It's with that focused insight of both sides that he continues to build and grow Selingo Guagliardo with solid success for his clients. Carl J. Guagliardo joined the firm in 2005 as a partner after practicing insurance defense for 12 years. He became a lawyer after serving 16 years as a police officer. To say that he has a unique perspective on all aspects of law is an understatement.
