About SENATE PRESIDENTS FORUM

The Senate Presidents’ Forum is a nonpartisan, nonprofit 501(c)(3) educational organization that brings together presiding officers of U.S. state senates in a collaborative environment. Since 1994, the Forum has served as a unique platform for legislative leaders to engage in candid discussions, share experiences, and explore solutions to the complex challenges facing their states. Through in-person conferences, virtual meetings, and the "SPF On Air" podcast series, the Forum facilitates the exchange of ideas on a broad spectrum of policy areas, including education, infrastructure, technology, energy, and the environment. By promoting respectful dialogue and evidence-based problem-solving, the Forum empowers state senate leaders to return to their legislatures with fresh insights and actionable strategies. Guided by principles of civility, open-mindedness, and a commitment to the common good, the Senate Presidents’ Forum remains a cornerstone for legislative excellence and innovation across the nation.
