About SenseUp Training

SenseUp Training supports paediatric Occupational Therapists to deepen their clinical reasoning and apply sensory integration in meaningful, functional ways. Our work is grounded in the understanding that sensory processing is not separate from participation - it is central to how children engage, move, learn and interact within their environments. We focus on bridging the gap between theory and practice, supporting therapists to move beyond surface-level strategies and toward more intentional, individualised intervention. Our approach is informed by: • neuroscience-informed practice • sensory integration • neurodiversity-affirming approaches • sensory-affirming practice • trauma-informed care Through workshops, courses and practical resources, we aim to support therapists in developing confidence, clarity and flexibility in their work with children and families. We recognise the complexity of paediatric practice and the need for approaches that are both clinically grounded and responsive to each child’s unique profile. SenseUp Training provides space for deeper learning, reflection and application - supporting therapists to integrate sensory knowledge into everyday practice in ways that are thoughtful, respectful and effective. Our goal is to support therapists in building confident, responsive practice that translates into meaningful outcomes for the children and families they work with.
