About Sentient Animal Law Foundation

The Sentient Animal Law Foundation (www.sentientanimallaw.org) is a unique non-profit organization co-founded by legal experts that reveals the law reform which makes positive animal welfare ‘the law’. The Foundation answers the question ‘how’ to turn work, ideas, and initiatives about animal welfare, sustainability, biodiversity, and climate change into a nationwide reality within critical timeframes. Just ‘recognizing’ animal sentience is not enough to evolve behaviours beyond baseline minimum standards of animal cruelty. The Foundation advocates a “3-word law reform” which delivers genuinely ‘modern’ animal law critical to addressing modern issues involving the inseparable human-animal-environmental relationship.
