Founder of Sequence Me Now, Bryce Olson, was diagnosed with aggressive stage 4 prostate cancer at the age of 44. When the standard treatment options failed, Bryce turned to genomic sequencing, which empowered his medical team to identify the molecular drivers behind his cancer and tailor treatments and clinical trials to his unique profile. His message to others was clear: “You can do this, too.” “The driver of my cancer was hidden in my DNA. I asked my doctors to ‘Sequence Me.’ The insights from genomic sequencing opened new doors and saved my life. Fight cancer differently—with data.” The legacy of Bryce’s resilience and advocacy continues to inspire, driving efforts to make genomic testing more accessible to those in need. Bryce Olson passed away in July 2023. His family and friends remain dedicated to continuing his mission to raise awareness and inspire those diagnosed with cancer to advocate for personalized, data-driven care.
