About Serving People with a Mission

Serving People with a Mission builds servant leaders who strengthen communities and create change—starting in Chicago. Founded in 2020 by college-aged youth, Serving People with a Mission is a nonprofit organization dedicated to developing the next generation of leaders through education, service, and real-world experience. Our programs empower young people to lead with purpose, think critically, and take action in their communities. Through initiatives like the Hand-n-Hand Leadership Program, participants engage in workshops, exposure trips, and philanthropic projects that connect leadership theory with real-life impact. Each experience equips youth with the confidence, professionalism, and empathy needed to navigate the world and lead with integrity.
