About SFStructures

Steven Ferguson spent 17 years working at two of the world’s largest engineering design consultancies. Initially at ARUP and latterly at AECOM, he delivered a wide portfolio of projects across a diverse range of climates and geographies. In 2015 in an effort to bring his broad range of experience to a smaller, design orientated, local engineering practice, he created the brainchild that is SF Structures Scotland. Since then he has developed the company into a versatile design house with like-minded consultants and a broad range of collaborators. Our ethos - to offer all the design and analysis expertise expected of a large global consultancy within a more personable, client focused design studio. As a Structural Engineering Registration (SER) company we are qualified to certify all types of building structures to secure Building Warrant and inform Construction.
