About SGB GmbH

We offer: - leak detection systems for double-walled tanks/pipes - leak detectors for single-walled tanks with leak protection lining/jacket - leak detection systems for explosive areas/applications - leak detection probes for collecting chambers, access chambers, sumps SGB leak prevention and detection systems will permanently monitor and actively prevent leaking of double-walled tanks and pipes. This is due to the pneumatic function principle (pressure/vacuum): Air or gas is applied in the interstitial space (gap between the inner and outer wall) and monitored with a leak detector. If there is a leak, the pressure in the interstitial space drops and an alarm is triggered. For the leak monitoring of pump sumps, manhole chambers and containments SGB offers a wide range of leakage probes. All SGB systems will give an alarm indication before any stored/conveyed product can enter the environment causing environmental pollution. With over 480,000 leak detectors installed worldwide since 1962, SGB has built a reputation for robust, quality products for the mineral oil, chemical and heating oil industries and has achieved the highest of environmental protection level in accordance to EN 13160. SGB leak prevention systems monitor double-walled tanks and pipes, e. g. at tank farms, chemical industry, petrol stations, heating oil tanks, data centers - in other words, wherever liquids that are hazardous to water are stored or transported. From development and production to installation and maintenance, from economical standard devices to tailor-made special solutions: SGB customers receive high-quality leak detectors and a comprehensive and sustainable service. This is what we and our network of partners stand for. Since December 2022 SGB is part of globally acting ELAFLEX Group.
