SGS MPM is a dual-capability laboratory specializing in advanced materials testing and custom test-system engineering for the nuclear, energy, steel, and broader industrial sectors. Our advanced materials testing laboratory delivers analytical testing, material characterization, mechanical property evaluation, and failure analysis for critical industrial applications where performance, safety, and reliability are essential. SGS MPM operates one of the few independent high-activity hot cell facilities in the United States, supporting specialized nuclear programs including nuclear material testing, surveillance capsule testing, neutron transport analysis, and radiation damage modeling. Beyond testing services, we designs and manufactures custom testing systems, including Charpy impact testing machines, instrumented impact testing equipment, drop tower systems, and other specialized test equipment used by research laboratories, manufacturers, and industrial organizations nationwide.
