About Shaanxi Yanchang Petroleum (Group)
Shaanxi Yanchang Petroleum Group is a Chinese state-owned conglomerate engaged in oil and gas exploration, production, refining, and petrochemical manufacturing, directly under the Shaanxi Provincial Government. Founded in 1905, it is the oldest oil enterprise in China and the fourth-largest domestic oil producer, with nearly all its reserves and refineries concentrated in Shaanxi Province on the Ordos Basin. The company entered the Fortune Global 500 in 2013, the first from Shaanxi Province, and had revenues of approximately $2.55 billion in 2021.
