About Shazam Theatre Company

✨ About Shazam Theatre Company SCIO Founded in 2014, Shazam Theatre Company SCIO is a charity dedicated to delivering professional, community-based drama tuition and performance that inspires creativity, confidence, and connection. Our mission is to promote, facilitate, and encourage the arts within our local community — providing young people with a welcoming space to explore performance, develop new skills, and build meaningful friendships. At Shazam, we believe that the social experience is just as valuable as the drama training itself. Our sessions focus on personal growth, teamwork, and empowerment, helping each participant grow as both a performer and an individual. We make the arts accessible to everyone — no auditions, no experience required — just enthusiasm and a willingness to take part. Our member-led approach ensures that young voices help shape the direction of our groups and projects. With weekly classes at Rosemount Community Centre, our award-winning team continues to earn recognition locally and nationally for innovation and excellence in community arts.
