About Shifting Mosaics Consulting

Our goal is to support human activity and industry, while still allowing ecosystems and biodiversity to thrive. Through a thoughtful combination of science and field work, we can help you manage our natural resources, using ecologically and culturally appropriate methods and techniques.  Clients engage us for projects of all sizes and scope, ranging from investigations into the mortality of a single animal, to complex large-scale projects. Just one example is a highly successful remediation strategy to address the rupture of a natural gas pipeline (and resulting fire) that impacted the entire province of British Columbia. To execute our highly specialized work, we draw on an international network of scientific experts and resource professionals. Our company has a vast range of tools and equipment, ranging from heavy duty vehicles to the latest GIS software, which enables us to safely work in even the most remote locations, year-round.
