About Shubbak Festival

Shubbak Festival | 23 May – 15 June 2025 Shubbak (meaning ‘window’ in Arabic) is the UK’s largest festival of contemporary Arab cultures, showcasing bold, new, and unexpected voices alongside renowned artists. Taking place every two years in London and beyond, we bring groundbreaking performances, exhibitions, and events to audiences across the UK. Beyond the festival, Shubbak supports and celebrates Arab artists’ creativity through professional and engagement programmes, national touring, and artist-led commissions. Working nationally and internationally, we develop projects that foster innovation and diverse creative approaches. Join us for an unmissable celebration of contemporary Arab culture!
