The firm advises owners, families, investors, companies, and boards on the decisions that define the trajectory of a business or a family's assets - transactions and situations where the financial and strategic stakes are consequential. The partners engage directly in every mandate, from origination through execution. Selectivity is a founding operating principle: the number of mandates accepted each year is deliberately limited to ensure the quality of counsel the firm is committed to delivering. Senior counsel is applied directly to each engagement, across four practice areas: M&A advisory, capital structure solutions (debt, equity, and hybrid instruments), strategic and financial advisory (valuations, financial opinions, capital assessments), and special situations involving complexity, competing interests, or non-standard circumstances. The firm's affiliated independent investment platform, AmperCap, operates separately and focuses on lower middle market private equity in Mexico and the United States.
