Simr’s (formerly UberCloud) mission is to make high performance computing (HPC) a reality for every engineer. Traditionally, HPC required operating an on-premise computing cluster with the associated capital and operational costs. Simr helps R&D organizations transform themselves by adopting a cloud-first mindset. We make it easy for engineers to use the cloud so they can achieve the benefits of HPC without any of the shortcomings. Founded in 2013, Simr’s award winning software container technology and network of partners has led to us being recognized as a pioneer in technical computing as a service by analysts from Gartner, IDC, 451 Research and HPCwire.

Founded in 2014 by Burak Yenier and Wolfgang Gentzsch.
