About Sinkler Miller Medical Association

Sinkler Miller Medical Association (SMMA) was founded in 1968. It is a nonprofit (501 c3) organization of Black physicians in the Northern California Bay Area , primarily Alameda and Contra Costa counties. Our mission is to improve the quality of healthcare in our communities with emphasis on the underserved population through community outreach and providing financial support, mentoring and leadership training to the next generation of health care providers.
