About SIR Instituut & Academische Apotheken
SIR is al meer dan 20 jaar een gezaghebbend expertisecentrum voor de farmaceutische zorgpraktijk en beleid. In nauwe samenwerking met de academische Apotheek Stevenshof te Leiden heeft SIR als doel om veilig en effectief gebruik van geneesmiddelen te bevorderen. Hiervoor stimuleert, begeleidt en voert SIR farmaceutisch praktijkonderzoek uit. SIR verspreidt de resultaten van de onderzoeken via onderwijs en diverse publicaties. Daarmee staat SIR aan de wieg van innovaties in de farmaceutische zorgpraktijk en heeft het inbreng in beleid. De expertise wordt gebruikt door een groot aantal partijen, zoals de overheid, zorgverzekeraars, beroepsgroepen, apotheekketens en formules, individuele apothekers en patiënten- en consumentenorganisaties.
