About SisterShip Training
SisterShip Training provides practical maritime education designed to build confident, capable decision-making on the water. With more than 25 years of experience across recreational and commercial boating, training focuses on clear, structured learning that goes beyond licence compliance. The aim is simple: to help people understand what they are doing and why it matters. Courses are delivered primarily online, supported by targeted face-to-face training for recreational boat licensing. Training supports: • Recreational boaters seeking confidence and sound judgement • Cruisers preparing for longer trips and more complex conditions • Students working toward maritime qualifications Navigation and seamanship are taught in a practical, applied way, turning chart work and theory into real-world understanding. Alongside training delivery, SisterShip Training provides course design and consultancy for RTOs and organisations, including: • Development of licensing-ready training materials • Course design aligned to AMSA and ASQA requirements • Review of training delivery, assessment, and learner pathways The focus is always on building skills that translate directly to safer, more confident time on the water.
