About Sitaram Forest (Beauty of Eco-Sensitive Area - ESA)

An Initiative of Sitaram Foundation 🌿 Sitaram Forest – A Gift from Mother Nature 🌿 Nestled in the heart of Kondhari Village, just 20 km from Bhor on the Bhor–Mahad Road, lies Sitaram Forest — a pristine stretch of greenery located near the serene Deoghar backwaters, on the picturesque slopes of Varandha Ghat, an Eco-Sensitive Area. Sitaram Forest is nature’s untouched treasure, blessed with: Lush biodiversity of over 5,000 trees and 100+ species, including rare medicinal and herbal plants, Green Gold, Jackfruit, and Karvanda. Natural water streams flowing on both sides, enriching the forest ecosystem. A thriving habitat for birds, insects, and native wildlife, making it a peaceful haven for nature lovers and conservationists. As you walk through the forest, the soothing sounds of chirping birds and rustling leaves offer tranquility for the soul. It’s not just a forest—it’s a living, breathing sanctuary where modern minds reconnect with timeless nature. Sitaram Forest is more than a destination — it's a journey back to the roots. A place to slow down, breathe deeply, and rediscover the profound peace and purpose that only Mother Nature can provide.
