Specific Objectives * Dissemination of novel food processing technologies and quality assurance aspects of food manufacturing * Promoting entrepreneurship and providing required guidelines, ideas and follow-up actions * Reduce wastage of agricultural commodities during peak harvesting and value addition * Reduce the import of raw materials and finished products (in relation to food and beverage) * Enhance the food availability throughout the country at an affordable price * Development of domestic and export market for locally value added food and beverage products * Approach international markets and increase foreign exchange inflow
