About Smart City Parking Management India Private Ltd

Smart City Parking Management India Private Ltd (SCP) was incorporated by its parent company Parking Control Management UK Ltd to introduce smart parking management and enforcement solutions to India. Parking Control Management (UK) Ltd (PCM) has been a nationwide operation since 1992, currently managing thousands of parking schemes throughout the UK. After several years of research, development and speculation in India, in a market as then still not ready to embrace international parking norms, the parking and political climate in India is finally beginning to change and embrace smart parking policies. Smart City Parking’s core strength is the implementation of a robust parking management and enforcement model. Whether it be on-street or off-street public/residential parking needs, a Metro/train station, a bustling market area, or office, retail and leisure or IT parks, SCP uses a dedicated enforcement solution which ensures there is a deterrent to illegal or improper parking. A typical SCP smart parking solution for the current Indian market would feature: 1. Skilled and trained staff to operate and manage Smart Parking Management and Enforcement. 2. Automated barriers integrated with RFID for entry and exit. 3. LPR (Licensed Plate Recognition) camera-based parking entry system. 4. Paid Parking Model - both monthly and hourly-based. 5. Separate paid Parking Zones for 2W, 4W, trucks and buses. 6. Defined No Parking zones. 7. Parking Enforcement for illegal and improper parking will be carried out by SCP Parking Enforcement team. 8. A transparent cloud-based parking management revenue system.
