We believe that if girls engage with personal finance and understand the power of "money confidence" from the start of their adult lives it will give them greater power and choice in how they live their lives. Our key focus areas are: Research: - Investigate the reasons behind lower confidence and interest in financial literacy among girls. - Understand the unique challenges and barriers faced by girls aged 16-21 in engaging with financial topics. Content and Distribution: - Tailor content to be relatable and engaging for girls aged 16-21. - Utilize platforms and modes of distribution that resonate with this age group, such as social media, interactive online modules, and mobile apps. Workshops and Events: - Conduct financial literacy workshops, talks, and events designed to inspire and empower girls to achieve financial independence. - Ensure these activities are fun, interactive, and engaging to maintain interest and participation. Create a Supportive Network: - Create opportunities for girls to build a supportive network that encourages and sustains their financial journeys. - Facilitate mentorship programs and peer support groups to provide ongoing guidance and encouragement.
