About Smile More Productions

Smile More Productions is a UK-based Narrative Design co-development studio. We deliver AAA-quality narrative design content to studios that deserve best-in-industry treatment. There are thousands of small to medium-sized studios, with small to medium-sized projects (and budgets) globally. Let’s face it, for many of these studios, having one full-time narrative designer just isn’t an option, let alone having multiple to fulfil different specialisms within the discipline. By outsourcing your narrative design needs to Smile More Productions, you’re tapping into decades of experience in Narrative Design & Game Writing, with dedicated specialists who can nurture the vaguest kernel of an idea to full bloom. Our team covers every element of the Narrative discipline, including design, narrative systems, game writing, script writing, lore creation & management, documentation, editing, proofreading, English localisation revision, voice acting casting and direction. When you’re a smaller studio, flexibility is your strength, so we believe that you should choose how we fit into your workflow. Have us work on projects with full autonomy or drop in to help with a thorny narrative issue, or have us work alongside you as integrated members of your team. We can also join your project at any point in development. Have us in the room from day one when you’re bouncing ideas around and the sky’s the limit or have us assist with publisher pitching, creating MVPs/demos, or bring us in to land the final edit just before publication.
