Smile Train's sustainable and scalable global health model empowers local medical professionals with training, funding, and resources to provide 100% free cleft surgery and comprehensive cleft care in their own communities making quality cleft care available and accessible to all. In India, our footprint is marked by more than 700,000 cleft surgeries across 30 states and union territories. With a vast network of 150+ treatment partner hospitals and 300+ dedicated cleft medical professionals, we’re proud to lead the way in cleft care. In addition to cleft surgeries, our treatment partners offer a comprehensive range of crucial services for children with clefts, including nutritional counselling and support, speech therapy, psychological counselling, orthodontic care, and various other forms of essential support. With Smile Train, cleft affected children have access to care every day of the year, enabling them not only to survive but to thrive. Our pioneering efforts extend to India’s first Cleft Leadership Centre, serving as a hub of excellence in cleft treatment and training. In India, we are the sole organization dedicated to fostering a unique initiative known as Cleft Con India. This platform serves as a vital source of assistance and empowerment for individuals affected by cleft conditions, helping them develop resilience and receive essential support. We also offer India’s only toll-free cleft helpline, 1800103 8301, providing crucial information and support to families. Join us in celebrating Smile Train India’s endeavours. Together, we can change one smile at a time. https://www.shutterstock.com/search/indian-woman-with-cleft
