About Smith Village

Welcome to Smith Village, a secure, inclusive community that affords you the opportunity to explore the new, rekindle old passions, and forge connections with warm and caring people. What sets us apart from other senior living communities in Chicago is the true sense of belonging and down-to-earth sociability that one feels when they enter Smith Village. Smith Village has been a trusted presence on the South Side for 96 years, and it’s all right here in the Beverly neighborhood you know and love. As a premier not-for-profit Life Plan Community, everything we do is to protect your right to live life fully the way you choose—independently with support and a secure plan for your future.
