About Sofitel Chicago Magnificent Mile

At Sofitel, we are more than luxury hotels. We are a place where people and cultures celebrate life itself. Inspired by French zest for life, we shine a light on vibrant local cultures through our savoir-faire and heartfelt service. At Sofitel Chicago Magnificent Mile, guests experience the Windy City through a uniquely French lens. Our bold glass prism, designed by French architect Jean-Paul Viguier, is an icon in Chicago’s Gold Coast, just steps from the famed Magnificent Mile. Inside, 415 artfully appointed rooms - including a French-inspired Presidential Suite - offer signature Sofitel Beds and spa-style bathrooms with soaking tubs and separate showers. Guests can enjoy elevated brunch at CDA, sip cocktails at Le Bar, or host a stylish event in over 10,000 sq. ft. of space. A state-of-the-art fitness center and bright meeting rooms round out the experience. Sofitel Chicago was named to Condé Nast Traveler’s Best Hotels in Chicago list for two consecutive years (2024 & 2025) and U.S. News & World Report’s Best Hotels in Chicago 2025 list - a testament to our commitment to excellence. Executive Chef Daniel Höfler, a graduate of the Brillat-Savarin School in Germany, brings global influence to local ingredients, crafting dishes that are creative, sustainable, and full of flavor. Our Cultural Link logo represents the meeting of people, cultures, and ideas - a reflection of our French-inspired identity and locally rooted experiences. Whether you’re visiting, collaborating, or joining our team, our warm and dedicated staff will greet you with a smile and a true sense of joie de vivre.
