In a country torn by ongoing turmoil and financial crisis, Solidarity unites Lebanese at home and abroad to uplift lives and restore dignity. Founded by Lebanese philanthropists in partnership with the Maronite Foundation in the World, the Lebanese Maronite Order, and the Gilbert and Rose-Marie Chagoury Foundation, Solidarity believes in the power of unity to foster social justice. Through a transparent and targeted donation ecosystem, the organization channels support where it’s needed most. Our Mission centers around five key programs, each designed to create lasting impact: - Food Program: Fighting hunger by distributing essential food boxes valued at USD 30 each, reaching over 7,000 families living below the poverty line. - Education Program: Supporting children’s access to education by covering tuition for the third child and beyond in families with three or more children, helping keep students in school with just a USD 200 donation. - Solidarity with Beirut: In the wake of the 2020 Beirut port explosion, Solidarity rebuilt 904 damaged apartments, enabling families to return home and stay in their communities, in collaboration with Dar Al Handasah and MAN Enterprise. - Healthcare Program: Responding to the COVID-19 crisis with critical medical aid—providing 50 ICU ventilators, 52 oxygen concentrators, and vital supplies to overwhelmed hospitals. - Solidarity Christmas Village: Reigniting the holiday spirit during Lebanon’s toughest years, the Village welcomed 35,000+ visitors in 2020 and 2021 with free entry, food kiosks, entertainment, and joy—made possible by generous donors.
