The Somerset County Educational Services Commission (SCESC) is a public educational agency, established under New Jersey Statute Title 18A, that serves as the catalyst for cooperative education, administration, and financing. The State of New Jersey mandates that school districts provide instruction and educational supports to all students regardless of their level of need. Since 1978, the SCESC continues to provide shared educational programs and services to Somerset and neighboring county school districts who are unable to provide the necessary academic programming and/or services for a student. SCESC consistently grows and adapts its programs and services to meet the ever changing needs of school districts and their students.
